  1. What can & should I bring with me the day of the race?
  • Wear your thinking caps, running shoes and comfortable attire! A race shirt will be provided with your registration packet. 
  • Complimentary Lemon Perfect water and Goose Island beer will be provided, but feel free to also bring a bottle of water or other refreshments.

  1. How can I pick up my packet?
    Packets can be picked up at Fleet Feet with the QR code from your confirmation email. Keep your eye on the website and your inbox for more information as the event gets closer. 
  1. How do I get there and where can I park?
    There is ample street parking around Humboldt Park. If you are traveling via public transportation, visit transitchicago.com for directions. 
  1. Will there be restrooms on site?
    Yes, there will be portable restrooms on site.
  1. What kind of trivia questions can I expect during the race?
    Each multiple choice trivia question will test your knowledge of Chicago's rich history. You may encounter questions about Chicago music, sports, culture, happenings and more! Trivia questions will be curated by Chicago Sun-Times and WBEZ reporters. Your answer selection will be determined by the lane you choose.
  1. Can I bring my dog?
    This event is dog-friendly and we encourage you to bring your furry friends. But before you do, please review the Chicago Park District's rules and regulations for pets (note: dogs must be leashed at all times).
  1. Are children welcome?
    Yes! All are welcome to walk, jog or run the 5K or cheer you on from the sidelines. If you choose to walk or run with a stroller, please be considerate of other participants (especially those who are running competitively!)
  1. My friends/ family want to support me from the sidelines. What should they know?
    Humboldt Park is open to the public and friends/ family are welcome to cheer you on and join you at the finish line.

    Please note: only registered participants 21+ will receive a drink ticket for a complimentary Goose Island beer following the race.
  1. Is my registration refundable?
    All registrations are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend the race, consider your registration fee a donation in support of local journalism!
  1. How can my business get involved?
    Businesses can provide participants with branded swag, beverages, snacks, fliers, discounts, etc., advertise goods or services at a booth and/or become a sponsor of the Fast & Curious 5K.
